SUNWAY – The long anticipated Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill has finally opened as of June 18th! This will be the first ever restaurant opened by the celebrity chef that is outside of the United Kingdom.
The past year has been an exciting one for food lovers, what with the openings of many internationally famous restaurant names like Jolibee and FiveGuys emerging in the heart of Malaysia.
Gordon Ramsay’s Bar & Grill is one not to miss out on the topic of famous restaurant openings!
The restaurant caters 150 people at a time, with operating hours from 6pm to 10pm daily.
Iconic foods that the chef himself has demonstrated in cooking previously are on the menu. This includes his signature Beef Wellington, Spiced Beef Tartare with Egg Yolk Confit, Arnold Bennett Twice-baked Cheese Soufflé with Mornay Sauce, Dover Sole with Grenobloise capers sauce, and more.
With private dining rooms such as 8 Mayfair, 10 Soho, and 12 Chelsea, grand dining room with semi-private seating booths, and a cocktail bar, you are in for an exquisite dining experience.
The interior is a marriage between the luxurious Sunway Resort’s interior and the British chef’s heritage.
Dark reds and greens paint the walls, accompanied with polished walnut hardwood flooring, brass finishes, 24 karat gold leaf hand-placed ceiling, and monochrome portraits of British style icons.
You also get to enjoy floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the lagoon at certain spots of their dining area.
The multi-Michelin starred chef’s restaurant is located at the lobby level of Sunway Resort.
